A song can deeply move you, like Lightning crashes...

There's a song called Lightning crashes, I discovered this one while browsing through one of the folders on my computer, and since I was looking at songs released in the great 90s, I stumbled upon this one, the riffs were superb at the introduction, and the voice was serious, inviting, convincing, and I heard the word placenta...It was intriguing, the lyrics. What is interesting is, I looked it up on the internet, and I found that the song was dedicated to a woman who was the band's good friend. Barbara Lewis. She was killed by a drunk driver, and had her organs donated to a lot many people. And in this way, she made others continue living. The lyrics sound more like, the cycle of life, but incidentally, this song really wants to make Barbara's life immortal by showing how a woman's death resulted in one life giving life to others...A beautiful ode, is this song. It's so poignant. It kind of makes me cry.

A song can have such power that it lifts your spirits, it gives you a ride in the galaxy, even if the open eyes can see nothing but pain, it's when you close your eyes, you feel the depth of an emotion, stripped to what it really and actually is...a genuine feeling, that pinches you to your very soul, resulting in a teardrop..and a smile for having felt a beauty of a body of water with ripples on it.

The Video:

It is one of the classics. The 90s were brilliant I tell you. A friend of mine says, they had "soul" which now in this commercial world , it's rather hard to find. The video, goes according to the lyrics though, and they have used tabby cats in the video, giving an impression of their nine lives, this is entirely my interpretation, of how Babara's death gave way to more people to live on. The video, is beautiful, the expression of Ed is just heartening. This song touches a chord. It's really beautiful. You should definitely check it out>>

Lightening Crashes - The Video

Lyrics:

Lightning crashes, a new mother cries
her placenta falls to the floor
the angel opens her eyes
the confusion sets in
before the doctor can even close the door

lightning crashes, an old mother dies
her intentions fall to the floor
the angel closes her eyes
the confusion that was hers
belongs now, to the baby down the hall

oh now feel it comin' back again
like a rollin' thunder chasing the wind
forces pullin' from the center of the earth again
I can feel it.

lightning crashes, a new mother cries
this moment she's been waiting for
the angel opens her eyes
pale blue colored iris,
presents the circle
and puts the glory out to hide, hide
