A poem I'd written on the eve of Mother's day...well it should be sung everyday innit?
Her silhouette comforts,
And troubles melt with her smile,
She makes my day, oh so worthwhile.
Her kind words have put worries to sleep,
Her arms once a cradle, now a confidence booster for me,
She lives in nostalgia, in me she lives,
A fantastic person, she is within.
We say, we are blessed to have her around,
A joy of innocence greets us when she is about,
Always given she has, given her all,
And of course, pampered us silly too!
I’m so grateful to have a Mom , so cool,
To God, Here I send, My Thousand thank you's!
