An oath to remember!

Ah I suffer from a sensitive stomach. Really. It's one days when you feel like you've been punctured and betrayed by your own stomach. But the punishment really saw me through what torture I impose on that frail part of me. Look at it this way, after this insurmountable pain I admonished the idea of ever stepping into that restaurant where us office guys hike, only to be served with oily dosas and unhealthy junk,at 7...which invariably leads us poor souls into skipping dinner, which is home-cooked...and obviously, healthy! So today, I actually saw what life I lead, foodwise...and was an interesting glimpse of what my stomach endures throughout the day.

Early morning skipped upma, since I could only survive on juices. So skipped lunch, chicken gravy, rice, rotis, papads, onions. Survived on freshly cut papaya. Moving on to 4'oclock snacks, skipped gulab jamuns, mithais and the like. Survived on a glass of chai. Moving on to dinner, just skipped vegetables, again chicken gravy, rotis, onions and the dessert, survived on dal and rice.

My god! Do I really exert my lil tummy, with so many unnecessary endeavours. It's time for a strict diet-plan and exercise. So here is my oath: I solemnly swear that I will not eat at 'Empire'. I will eat healthy foods and fruits. And insist on salads instead of breads. Cut down on butter. And exercise every morning, and plan to hit the gym.

Amen
