nostalgia can creep inside you at odd hours.

I was listening to pink bullets by the shins. A friend introduced it to me. When I first heard it, it seemed so melancholic. So sad. And then one day , I just heard it clearly, with no one around, distractions are decidedly few. It is an amazing song, which makes anyone get their most deepest feelings surface on their expressive faces, as the faces contorts a little, the ends of the mouth clench a little, the vulnerable moment is more becoming when you listen to it quietly. That's when you realise that the song is taking you to nostalgia, a moment that you should rarely go back on more often. It is in these moments the life that is now is regrettably resounding to more of an existence than of living. Just pushing it so that one more year goes by, by nothing eventful. Every event is a milestone, but you regard those nostalgic moments as milestones won't you? The song takes you somewhere, that even mild, fleeting conversations won't take you. Some feelings are just too deep, without reminesce, where would we be? Oh where?

Here's a classic video by Balanski..pink bullets by shins.
