A reminder
Everyone knows the smell of stagnant water. But they also know the smell of comfort. To stay or not to stay that is the question. Do you know the smell of a dying relationship? It's something like that. You ought to make it work. You need a bit of cajoling, intimacy and caring to nurture what you have. For a job, either you have to be really excellent at what you do, or just be the other guy waiting to be discovered like a 100-year old diamond. About comfort, no one wants to leave, especially when you are accustomed to familiarity. You take that to your advantage and take risks. But once you're outside, you need to have a proving mettle, a ready wit, a confident stance to command respect. Or you'll lie like a stone unturned. gathering moss.
