Tired. Exhausted. But the mind is overflowing, as cool breeze carefully caresses me, I smell hope and care in his embrace. I discovered something today. Rebel websites. But most important one, was one where creativity was unleashed, and well, in this new age world, something I despised, I came to admire. A rave, but not an ordinary one, but something else, the real essence of one.
Black Rock Desert.
Here in August 2008, something really big is going to happen. It happened ages ago. And now 48,000 people will come again, to celebrate the Burning man. One of the greatest discoveries I was able to explore today, and the very fact that being creative is a human trait, for it is us who create. From anything. Those visiting black rock...They create art, and they appreciate. Well, without being any more vague. let me explain.
Burning man is a week-long festival, that takes place at Black Rock city/desert, where people all over the world or from the transatlantic come and exhibit their wonderful Individualistic and mind-blowing creative expression or their art. It has a few rules though.
1. You have to bring all your supplies with you, this place is such that no money is exchanged except for coffee or tea. Only barter system works. So all you need to do is socialise, and get something in return for the skills you have.
2. Socialise. Make friends, there are camps in and around the place, and art installations are made throughout the large desert.
3. You'll make some friends, sexual energy is on a high, raves are taking place somewhere.And it's upto you how you want to spend it.
4. Be creative and understand the human psyche, that's all there is.
I was stumped when I saw the website and the pictures. It makes you want to explore your goddamm creative side.
